Virtual Dog Training

60 Minute Virtual Session $55

What are the Benefits of Meeting Virtually?

  • Dogs that struggle with new people in the home don’t have to be uncomfortable
  • You can ask questions and discuss concerns in a comfortable and distraction free environment
  • Work with a qualified individual if you cannot find one in your area

Don’t You Need To See The Behavior?

No! In order to see the behavior I would have to put your dog in a situation to practice the behavior you are struggling with. That wouldn’t be fair to your dog. The goal isn’t to catch your dog in the act and correct the behavior with punishment.

We want to do our best to identify the underlying issue first and setup their environment for success and to prevent them from practicing the behavior.

How Does a Virtual Meeting Work?

Virtual Meetings are held using Google Meet.

A recording and transcript of the meeting will be provided to you within 48 hours of our meeting.

During our virtual meeting I’ll focus on giving down to earth and practical advice that you can use right away. We’ll talk about what’s going on in your dog’s life, answer any questions, and create a plan to help manage the current situation while you decide your next steps.

Most of my clients aren’t worried about winning obedience competitions – they just want to learn to build a better relationship with their dog. I’m always glad to see how happy the whole family is when they learn they can get the results that they want without force or punishment based methods, like Molly, Max and their dog Radar

We felt like we were at the end of our rope with Radar and his reactivity. We were beginning to lose hope and were directed to John for help and we are SO THANKFUL. The three of us have learned so much from John. Most importantly we learned patience, practice, and how to read and appropriately react to Radars signals. Radar is people reactive and leash reactive to dogs and strangers. He’d be snarling, up on hind legs, barking, and generally aggressive and fearful. Working with John we learned so many tips and tricks for how to work with this and by the last lesson radar was completely comfortable with John. Our walks have improved tremendously and we are all much more confident now.
John is patient, thoughtful, and takes the time to teach us just as much as we are teaching our buddy.
